ABOUT US.

Dr. George C. Awah is an internal medicine Physician with over twenty-five years of experience who presently practices internal medicine and also serves as a United States Civil Surgeon performing immigration physical examination on persons seeking US permanent residency (Green Card) and Citizenship. Dr. Awah is Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) and is also a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP). He obtained his medical degree from the university of South Dakota School of Medicine in 1991 and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Medstar

Washington Hospital Center (MWHC) in 1994.He has been practicing in the field on internal Medicine (outpatient and inpatient Hospital) since 1994 to present.

Dr. Awah is committed to providing the highest quality of health care services to his patients. With these years of experience in internal medicine he has learned a lot in the global field of internal medicine and is dedicated to achieving a high standard of care for all his patients. Medical services include annual medical checkups, routine officephysical examination, in-hospital patient care, United States Civil Service Immigration Physical Examination and other healthcare consultations. Both new and existing patients can be seen within one to two weeks from the time they seek medical attention.

Walk-ins on a “semi-urgent” situation are considered with within twenty-four to seventy two hours as long as the patient calls ahead of time to discuss the nature of the problem with Dr. Awah. The office offers in-person and online appointments.
